I can never be you.

Sitting in a crowded cafe, did you ever wonder who the people around you are, or how their lives are?
I've always tried to guess the profession of strangers sitting across the room from me. Tried to understand what conversations they might have with the person sitting next to them. Studying their body language, their features, their body temperature, their tone of voice, and the way they look at others.
Did you ever want to be someone else, or at least imagined to be?
I do that quite often. I see a girl walking in front of me and I wonder what it would feel like if we switched places. to be in her shoes, just for a while.
would that make me thankful for the life I already have or would that make me wish I was born in someone else's body.
we see people. We try to understand their pain. We try to understand their happiness. We try to understand human emotions, but most of the time we end up lost along the way.
it's so funny how much we think we know about people, or how much we think we understand what it feels like to be someone else. but the truth is you don't and never will.
And that is why my dear humans, we cannot and should not ever judge another. Because no matter how much we try to imagine to be in another person’s shoes, no matter how much we think we know about them, we can never be who they are, thus we can never understand what it means to be them. You can never understand how it feels to be shamma, and I can never understand how it feels to be you.
